SLC Stars Announce Opening Day Roster

SALT LAKE CITY – The Salt Lake City Stars, the official NBA G League affiliate of the Utah Jazz, have announced their official opening day roster for the 2022-23 NBA G League season. First year head coach, Scott Morrison, will lead the Stars’ 12-man roster in what marks the team’s seventh season in Salt Lake City.
The Stars will be led by Utah Jazz Two-Way players Johnny Juzang and Micah Potter. Lone Peak High School graduate and NBA veteran Frank Jackson joins the team as one of three Jazz Affiliate players along with Darryl Morsell, and Jeenathan Williams.
Returning Rights players Rawle Alkins, Paris Bass, Marques Bolden, Tyler Cook, and Isaiah Miller in addition to Local Tryout player Stacy Davis and 2022 NBA G League second round draft pick Elijah Lufile round out the Stars’ roster.

The Salt Lake City Stars tip off the 2022-23 campaign on Sunday, Nov. 6 in Henderson, Nev. against the G League Ignite. The Stars’ first game at their new home arena, the Maverik Center, will be on Monday, Nov. 21 against the Santa Cruz Warriors.
