GAME NOTES
A’ja Wilson became the first person to play all 45 minutes of a single overtime game since Deanna Nolan did it for the Detroit Shock on September 21, 2008 against Indiana.
A’ja Wilson became just the third player to record back-to-back 30+ point performances in the postseason (Breanna Stewart, Angel McCoughtry).
A’ja Wilson’s 14 made field goals were one off the WNBA postseason record of 15 held by four players.
A’ja Wilson scored a career playoff-high 34 points.
Chelsea Gray became the third player in WNBA postseason history to score at least 25 points while handing out 10 or more assists (29 points, 12 assists). The other two are Cappie Pondexter (26 points, 10 assists, Sept. 16, 2007 for Phoenix vs. Detroit in the WNBA Finals) and Diana Taurasi (26 points, 12 rebounds, August 21, 2028 for Phoenix vs. Dallas in the First Round)
Chelsea Gray shot 12 for 21 from the field, and is now 44 for 69 in the playoffs this season (.638). That would be the second highest field goal percentage ever in the postseason for a player with at least 50 attempts should she maintain it (Candice Dupree, 2014, Phoenix, 66.3%).
Chelsea Gray is also making 62.1 percent of her three-point field goal attempts in the postseason this year, which would be the highest percentage in a postseason for any player taking at least 25 attempts should she maintain it (Emma Meesseman, 2018, Washington, 58.1%).
The Aces are the first team in WNBA history to score 110 or more points in two postseason games during the same playoffs.
