Back to Basketball Youth Clinic Kicks off 2022-23 Season

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – The Grand Rapids Gold, the NBA G League affiliate of the Denver Nuggets, will host a “Back to Basketball” Youth Clinic on Thursday, September 22, to kick off the 2022-23 season. The event, held at the Salvation Army Kroc Center in Grand Rapids and in conjunction with NBA G League teams across the nation, will allow 60 kids ages 8-14 to participate in a free basketball clinic alongside staff from the Grand Rapids Gold and the Denver Nuggets.

WHO: Kids, ages 8-14 years old, plus staff from the Grand Rapids Gold and the Denver Nuggets
WHY: Grand Rapids is getting “Back to Basketball” with a Youth Clinic run by members of the Grand Rapids Gold and the Denver Nuggets. The free youth clinic is a G League-wide event celebrating the return of basketball. It will include a 90-minute clinic, plus an opportunity to meet members of the Grand Rapids Gold including Buckets, the Grand Rapids Gold mascot.

The NBA will officially begin the 2022-23 season on October 18, with the G League following soon after.
