Connecticut Sun to Face the Las Vegas Aces in the 2022 WNBA Finals Presented by YouTubeTV

Uncasville, CT – The Connecticut Sun will matchup against the Las Vegas Aces for a best-of-five finals series for the honor of bringing a WNBA Championship home to their respective franchises for the first time.
The Connecticut Sun came back from an 11-point deficit in the fourth quarter Thursday evening, winning 72-63 to advance to the WNBA Finals for the fourth time in franchise history. The Sun outscored the defending champions Chicago Sky 24-5 in the closing quarter of the game, ending the game on an 18-0 run and setting a WNBA record for largest scoring run to close out a playoff game.
The Las Vegas Aces bested the Seattle Storm, 3-1 in their best-of-five semifinal series. As the #1 seed, the Aces will host the Sun for games one, two and five (if necessary) of the WNBA Finals. Games one and two will be held at Michelob ULTRA Arena, and game one has already sold out.
The Connecticut Sun practice today at Michelob ULTRA Arena at 2:00 P.M. PST. Media members are welcome to attend the first 30 minutes of practice. The practice will be preceded by media availability, which will consist of a press conference in-person and on zoom with Connecticut Sun forward Alyssa Thomas and Sixth Player of the Year, Brionna Jones; as well on-court media availability with the rest of the Connecticut Sun team from 1:30-2:00 P.M. PST.
