Windy City Bulls Renew Local Broadcasting Partnership with NBC Sports Chicago
October 28, 2022 – NBA G League (G League) – Windy City Bulls News Release
The Windy City Bulls, presented by BMO, the NBA G League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls, announced an extension of its agreement with NBC Sports Chicago to air each of the team’s 24 home games during the 2022-23 regular season.
Former NBA players Will Perdue and Kendall Gill will join the Windy City broadcast as color analysts alongside long-time Chicago Sportscaster Mark Schanowski, who is moving into the play-by-play role this season after serving as analyst for Windy City. In addition to their on-court careers, Perdue and Gill are also well-known as analysts of Chicago Bulls Pre- and Post-game shows on NBC Sports Chicago.
Will Perdue was drafted by the Chicago Bulls in 1988 and played a pivotal role in helping the Bulls win three consecutive championships from 1991-1993. Suburban Chicago native Kendall Gill, who starred at the University of Illinois, was drafted as the No. 5 overall pick by the Charlotte Hornets in 1990. Throughout his 15 seasons in the NBA, Gill played for seven different teams, including the Chicago Bulls in 2003-04.
NBC Sports Chicago will air each Windy City home contest for the third consecutive season, providing 4.2 million NBC Sports Chicago viewers across Illinois, Iowa and Northern Indiana the opportunity to tune into NBA G League action. The partnership represents the NBA G League’s largest geographic local broadcast partnership.
For the first time in franchise history, NBA TV will air two of Windy City’s home games live across the nation. The first game will be Sunday, November 13 at 2:00 p.m. against the Iowa Wolves. The second national NBA TV game will be on Sunday, February 26 at 2:00 p.m. against the Westchester Knicks.
All scheduled Windy City home games will be seen on NBC Sports Chicago and its sister station, NBC Sports Chicago Plus, including 14 games that will air live on either station. 10 home games will air on tape delay, with the majority scheduled to follow a Chicago Bulls or Chicago Blackhawks game. All Windy City broadcasts will also be available via an authenticated stream at NBCSportsChicago.com/WatchLive.
NBC Sports Chicago is a member of the national family of NBC’s Regional Sports Networks and has been a broadcast partner of the Chicago Bulls since its launch in 2004.
In addition to this local broadcast partnership, all 50 of Windy City’s regular season home and road games will continue to be broadcast on ESPN+ or NBAGLeague.com, the NBA G League’s official online streaming platforms.

Tape delay games listed as Post-Bulls/Post-Hawks will be same-day tape-delay games that will air immediately following Chicago Bulls or Chicago Blackhawks coverage on those dates.
*11/13 and 2/26 games will also air live nationally on NBA TV.
