Iowa Wolves Announce Training Camp Roster

Des Moines, Iowa – The Iowa Wolves today announced its 2022-23 training camp roster, which features six players, Malik Benlevi, Brian Bowen II, Sam Cunliffe, Matt Lewis, Brandon Sampson, and Jordy Tshimanga who each spent all or part of last year with Iowa.
This year’s training camp roster also includes Minnesota Timberwolves two-way and former University of Iowa standout Luka Garza, another former Hawkeye standout Jordan Bohannon, Bettendorf native and former Mr. Iowa Basketball D.J. Carton.
In addition, CJ Elleby, PJ Dozier and Emmanuel Mudiay, are on the roster. Elleby spent last season with the Portland Trail Blazers where he averaged 5.8 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game. Dozier spent the last three seasons with the Denver Nuggets where he averaged 6.7 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game. Mudiay played in two games for the Sacramento Kings last season. In seven seasons in the NBA with the Nuggets, New York Knicks, Utah Jazz and Kings, Mudiay has tallied 3,299 points, 884 rebounds and 1,143 assists throughout 302 games.
Rounding out the roster are Timberwolves’ assignment player and 2022 second-round selection Josh Minott, Javonte Cook, Phillip Wheeler and Mamoudou Diarra, who was selected 12th overall in the 2022 NBA G League Draft.
