Overview: The longest tenured WNBA player on the Indiana Fever roster notched another season climbing the WNBA record books. Fever guard Danielle Robinson started 30 of 31 games played in 2022 and averaged 7.4 points, 3.8 assists and 2.9 rebounds per game in her 11th season in the WNBA and her second season with the Fever. 2022, which was delayed due to overseas commitments and also cut short due to a shoulder injury sustained on August 6 at the Dallas Wings, was the seventh season in Robinson’s career she played in at least 30 regular season games. To conclude the regular season, Robinson ranks 13th in WNBA history in assists with 1,376 and also at 77th in WNBA history with 2,973 points scored.
Notable Performances:
May 13: In the first game of her regular season, Robinson played a season-best 39 minutes in a win at the New York Liberty. Robinson finished with 17 points, eight rebounds and two steals.
May 20: At the Connecticut Sun, Robinson ended with 10 points and six assists in her 300th career regular season game played.
May 27: In a win at home against the Los Angeles Sparks, Robinson finished with 10 points and 11 assists to tie a Fever franchise record for most assists in a regular season game.
July 5: At Seattle, Robinson added 11 points, six rebounds and four assists.
August 6: In what was the last game of the 2022 regular season, Robinson finished with 15 points and eight assists at Dallas.
