2022-2023 Ontario Blues Junior Arrows Academy Combine Details

Rugby Ontario will be continuing with the delivery of the Ontario Blues Development Academy (formerly RCDA) and Ontario Blues Junior Arrows Academy (OBJAA) programming, which is funded by the Ontario High Performance Sport Initiative (OHPSI) of the Ontario Government and Canadian Sport Institute Ontario (CSIO). This programming is for targeted U15-U18 female and male athletes respectively, which runs from November-April.


To initiate the athlete selection process, there will be three (3) athlete combines on Sunday, October 30, 2022.

Athletes must register for the combine before attending. On-site registration will not be offered.

In order to participate, players must be registered with a Rugby Ontario member club. Any players not registered with a club may do a two-week membership. To register with a club, click here.

West – Bison’s Alumni Field/Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre

9:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Central – Ontario Soccer Centre

7601 Martin Grove Rd, Woodbridge, ON L4L 9E4

9:30 a.m. – 2 .pm.

East – Twin Elm Rugby Park

4075 Twin Elm Rd, Richmond, ON, K0A 2Z0

9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

*Please arrive 30-45 minutes early to check in.

Rugby Ontario is presently working to confirm facilities for both academies in the West and Central regions for 2022-2023. Its relationship with CSIO has provided Rugby Ontario with continued access to facilities at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre in Scarborough, ON, which has been the base for the Ontario Central Girls’ program and new home of the OBJAA.

Rugby Ontario has recently become aware of potential rental opportunities at the legacy facility of Canada Summer Games 2022 in St. Catharines (Niagara Region). Canada Games Park is a world-class sport facility, which CSIO will be moving into in January 2023.

Rugby Ontario is working on confirming the facilities for Canada Games Park; once that information is attained, the full schedule will be released.
