Fall is officially here, which means the rugby season is right around the corner. The crisp air and the leaves changing signifies that fans will soon be donning the four stripes as they cheer the Warriors to victory. With five seasons in the books at Zions Bank Stadium, we figured we would put together a list of the Five Best Things to do at a Warriors Home Match.
5. Visit the Team Store
The first stop for any Warriors Fan when they get to Zions Bank Stadium has to be the Team Store at the front of the Stadium. Fans can find the store packed with all the latest Warriors’ apparel, including the gear the players wear on the sidelines and in practice. The Team Store is the perfect place to find the right shirt, hat, hoodie, jersey or all of the above to show everyone that you bleed black and red during rugby season.

4. Visit the Fan Fest Area
After loading up on the newest Warriors’ gear at the Team Store, you’ve got to go show it off and make other fans jealous. There’s no better place to do that than at the Fan Fest Area inside Zions Bank Stadium. Not only can you show off your Warriors’ Fandom, but you can also get something to eat before kickoff at one of the food trucks parked inside the stadium. Once you fill up on a New Zealand Meat Pie, get your face painted like Koa at the face painting booth before posing for a picture in the photo booth.
And don’t forget to get Koa’s autograph before heading to your seat!
3. Jr. Warriors clinic
Admittedly, this technically is something to do BEFORE a Utah Warriors Match, not during. But it’s so fun that we had to include it on this list. Jr. Warriors Pregame Clinics are the perfect way to introduce your son or daughter to the sport of rugby in a fun and relaxed environment. Open to boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 14, the Jr. Warriors Clinics are taught by former USA Women’s Rugby Player Ashlee Byrge, along with current Utah Warriors Players.
Jr. Warriors Clinics start two hours before each Warriors’ Home Match and last 60 minutes. Each Jr. Warriors Clinic Registration includes TWO Tickets to that day’s match. To register or for more information you can always visit jr.warriorsrugby.com.
2. Watch a Post-Match Fireworks Show
What’s better than watching the Warriors clinch a playoff berth or take down the top team in the Western Conference? Following it up with a post-match fireworks show! The past two seasons, the Warriors have capped off their annual ‘Community Night’ with a fireworks show that puts your neighbor’s Fourth of July celebration to shame.
Following the match, fans are permitted on the field at Zions Bank Stadium to enjoy a warm summer evening under the stars and under the dazzling display of crackling fireworks. The fireworks show is just one of many elements the Warriors bring to gameday on Community Night. Fans who come to a Warriors match at the end of the season can expect on-field contests, pre-game celebrations and of course, the constant action of a professional rugby match.
1. Interact with the Players after the Match
There’s no other sport like rugby when it comes to fan-and-player interaction. Unlike basketball, football and other sports, rugby prides itself on allowing fans to see the players up close and personal and the Utah Warriors are no exception.
Following each match, win or lose, Warriors players can be found walking the edges of the field taking pictures, signing autographs and shaking hands, regardless of how bloodied or bruised they may be.
