Rush Draft Six New Prospects in 2022 NLL Entry Draft

Toronto, ON- – The Saskatchewan Rush add six new prospects to the team Saturday afternoon during the 2022 NLL Entry Draft.

Out of the six players drafted, the bulk of the group being from Ontario while two are from British Columbia, and one from Alberta. By position, the Rush added four offensive players, one defenceman and one transition, five of which shoot left and one shooting right.


With the sixth overall pick, the Rush selected 5’10” forward Austin Madronic. From Victoria, BC, the right shot 1999-born played the past four seasons with Harvard University and prior to that, he was with the Victoria Jr. A Shamrocks. Last season in red and white, Madronic lead the team in goals, notching 30 goals and 14 assists in 13 games. In his junior career with Victoria, he put up 14 multi-goal games, 28 multi-point games and suited up for one Minto Cup final.

Rd 3 Pick 49th – Cameron Badour

Rd 4 Pick 64th – Jeremy Searle

Rd 5 Pick 80th – Gabriel Procyk (pronounced pro-sick)

Rd 6 Pick 95th – Carter Brand
