Robinson Returns to Barnstormers

DES MOINES – The Iowa Barnstormers have re-signed defensive lineman Christopher Robinson to the 2023 roster Head Coach Dave Mogensen announced today.

Robinson (6-2, 247, Morgan State) returns to the Iowa Barnstormers for his second season with the team. Robinson originally signed with the Barnstormers after earning his goggles at the team’s 2022 Open Tryout last winter. In his rookie Indoor Football (IFL) season, Robinson appeared in 15 games collecting 38 total tackles, eight tackles for loss, three sacks, one interception, and one forced fumble.


“Chris was our most consistent defensive lineman last year, finishing the season with the most sacks on the team,” said Head Coach Mogensen. “He is a great teammate and someone that we will build our defense around in 2023.”

Robinson will return to Des Moines and enter the Iowa Barnstormers 2023 Training Camp in the Spring.
