Mesquite Outlaws Welcome Defender Emmanuel Aguirre

Defender Emmanuel Aguirre has signed with the Mesquite Outlaws for the 2022-2023 season. Per team and league policies, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Aguirre was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, MX, where he played from the ages 12 to 19, in the Liga MX academy of Club Atlas F.C. Aguirre began playing for the second premier division from previously playing with U17. For three years, Aguirre played for Club Toluca F.C., where he transitioned to playing Liga MX First Division.
Aguirre started his professional indoor soccer career with the Rio Grande Valley Barracudas in the 2018-2019 season. During which, he received MASL Honorable Mention honors and racked up 7 goals and 51 blocked opponent shots during regular season and playoffs. He then joined the San Diego Sockers for the 2019-2020 season, where he had one goal and 9 blocked opponent shots. Aguirre recently played during the 2021-2022 season for the Ontario Fury, now named the Empire Strykers. With the Fury, Aguirre scored one goal and had three assists.
When asked about what he feels Aguirre will bring to the team for this upcoming season, Head Coach Tatu said, “Aguirre is a young veteran of the indoor soccer game. He will bring us leadership on and off the field. We are very happy to have him join us as we continue to build a strong team.”
