LAST GAME: 5-1 L @ Calgary Hitmen: Last night saw the Medicine Hat Tigers open the scoring just 26 seconds in thanks to Pasha Bocharov but then the Hitmen would score five straight from Ethan Moore, Riley Fiddler-Schultz, Oliver Tulk, Sean Tschigerl & Carter Yakemchuk to give the Hitmen the win.


VS LETHBRIDGE: This is the 3rd of 8 meetings this season between the Tigers & Hurricanes with the season series split at 1-1 with both teams winning at home. Medicine Hat won their home opener 9-1 on September 24 & it was Lethbridge winning their home opener a week later 5-4 on September 30. The All-time record for the Tigers over the Hurricanes since the 1996-97 season is 114-79-8-4 with one tie. While the Tigers at home are 63-36-1-2 in 103 games played. Smith, Shane Smith: Tigers Rookie Forward Shane Smith, leads all Tiger rookies in scoring with 7 points (5 goals, 2 assistS), while the Cessford, AB product is 10th in WHL Rookie Scoring and 2nd in Rookie goals this season.
