Panther City Lacrosse Club Signs Members of 2022 NLL Entry Draft Class

September 21, 2022 – National Lacrosse League (NLL)Panther City Lacrosse Club News Release

FORT WORTH, TX – The Panther City Lacrosse Club has signed the following members of their 2022 NLL Entry Draft class to two-year agreements, the team announced today.

9th overall selection Mathieu Gautier


30th overall selection Ronin Pusch

39th overall selection Carter Zavitz

79th overall selection Kaleb Martin

Gautier netted more points (32) on nine goals and 23 assists than any other Albertan-born player in the Canadian Jr. A National Championship run with the Edmonton Miners. In 23 RMLL games, the St. Albert native recorded 110 points and received the Jim Bishop Award for leadership, sportsmanship and outstanding play.

Pusch, a defenseman, joins Panther City from the Edmonton Miners and recorded 24 points in 24 Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League games.

Zavitz joins from Princeton University, and also played 76 games for St. Catharines, racking up 252 points on 91 goals and 161 assists.

Martin was drafted from the Whitby Warriors Junior A team and recently guided the Warriors to the 2022 Minto Cup Championship, stopping 34 of 39 shots in a decisive game three.

Additionally, the team has placed Jason Knox (Ohio State), Colton Lidstone (Robert Morris), Petey LaSalla (Virginia), Jackson Rose (Marquette) and Michael Ippolito (High Point) on the Draft List.
