Panther City Lacrosse Club Signs Ryan Fournier and Clay Scanlan

FORT WORTH, TX – The Panther City Lacrosse Club has signed transition player Ryan Fournier and left-handed forward Clay Scanlan to one-year contracts, the team announced today.
Fournier appeared in nine games for the Riptide last season, claiming 34 loose balls. The Ottowa, Ontario native is entering his sixth season in the league after being drafted 12th overall in the 2017 NLL Entry Draft by the Vancouver Warriors, and he has played in 44 career games, netting 16 points, and claiming 190 loose balls.
Scanlan was the 30th overall pick by the Halifax Thunderbirds in the 2019 NLL Entry Draft straight out of Gowanda High School, becoming the youngest player to be drafted and signed into the NLL at 19 years of age. He was also a member of the U21 Iroquois National Team that competed at the 2022 World Lacrosse Men’s World Championship in August.
