Wranglers Get Back on the Road

After a weekend split with the Odessa Jackalopes, the Wranglers are
back on the road to square off against the New Mexico Ice Wolves.

The Wranglers outlasted Odessa in an 8-to-6 barnburner where both of-
fenses found their groove on Friday night. The Wranglers got big nights
from Rihards Simanovics and Dominik Bartecko. Bartecko would
secure a five-point night with four assists and a goal. Simanovics would
add two assists for a five-point night, along with his hat trick.


Over 2,000 people were in attendance for ‘First Responders Night’ as
the Wranglers looked for the sweep on Saturday night. The Jackalopes
would get the better of the weekend finale with a 5-to-1 win. The lone
Wrangelrs goal came from Connor McNaughton, who collected his
first NAHL goal. Despite the loss on the scoreboard, the Wranglers and
Amarillo community helped raise over $1,000 for first responders in the
Texas panhandle area.

The next Wranglers home stand is Nov. 2-3. The Wranglers Kids Day
game is on Thursday, November 2nd when the Wranglers will welcome
students from around the panhandle. Friday night will be Military Night,
where all current and retired military members will get free admission to
the game. The Wranglers will host a silent auction the night of the game,
with the proceeds going to veteran assistance programs. Amarillo will
host the Oklahoma Warriors Nov. 2-3.

the 8-to-6 Friday game.

– Amarillo is back on the road to take on the defending South Divi-
sion champion New Mexico Ice Wolves this week.

this weekend’s series in Albuquerque, NM.

– Amarillo is looking for a better record at the Outpost Ice Arenas.
Amarillo went 1-and-3 in Albuquerque last season. The elevation
at the arena is 5,312 feet.

goals Friday night for the
8-to-6 victory over Odessa. The Eight goals tie a franchise-high for
goals in a single game. Last year the Wranglers scored eight goals
against Odessa in an 8-to-1 win.

end. Three of the powerplay goals came from defenseman Rihards
Simanovics. The Wranglers have

: The Wranglers and Amarillo community
raised over

for the 100 club of the Texas Panhandle. The
100 Club assists first responders injured in the line of duty and pro-
vides new equipment for departments around the Texas Panhandle.
