Wolves Launch Elite Skills & Development Program

(Greater Sudbury, ON) The Sudbury Wolves are excited to announce the launch of a twenty-two session
Elite Skills and Development Program for 2007 – 2009 born athletes. This elite training program will
begin on Monday, October 10th and will run until Monday, March 27th. This program will focus on
developing player hockey skills instructed by Wolves’ assistant coaches Rick Doval, and Gary Ricciardi.


Learn from our highly trained and experienced coaching staff. Rick was the Head Coach and General
Manager of the Hawkesbury Hawks Jr. A team of the Central Canada Hockey League for the past 8 years
prior to joining the Wolves. During Rick’s time in the CCHL he led his teams through 400 wins and is a
two-time CCHL Coach of the Year, including most recently the 2021-22 season. Gary Ricciardi has
significant work experience in player development, he has been instrumental in helping build key hockey
programs in both Chicago and St. Louis. Gary is also an owner of Core Hockey Elite Training Camps and
has helped elite junior and professional players. These camps focus on improving player skills and
understand the patterns of the game. The list of players Gary has worked with includes former Wolves
Marc Staal and Taylor Pyatt along with their brothers, Patrick Sharp and Robert Bortuzzo, in addition to
others.

Each session of the program will include one hour of elite skill training that will take place from 3pm –
4pm at the Sudbury Community Arena. There are limited spaces available with only 20 player spots and
2 goaltender spots. Early bird pricing is now available for $1,000+HST. Save $100 until September 30th,
regular price is $1,100+HST. Registration also includes a ticket to each Wolves Wednesday night home
games (5) during the 2022-23 regular season and discounts for their family or friends to attend
alongside them.

Skills & Development Program dates; October 10, 17, 24, 30, November 7, 13, 14, 28, December 5, 11,
January 9, 16, 23, 30, February 6, 13, 21, 27, March 5, 12, 20, 27.
