Wolves Launch 2022-23 Theme Schedule

(Greater Sudbury, ON) The Sudbury Wolves are very excited to announce their theme schedule for the
upcoming 2022-23 50th anniversary season.
This year’s theme schedule is highlighted by a number of big games including Kids Jersey Day on Sunday
January 16th, We Are Wolves Fanfest on Sunday October 23rd, a 50th anniversary celebration game on
November 4th, Sensory Friendly Game on Sunday December 4th, Shoresy Night in support on NEO Kids on
December 9th, Indigenous Celebration Game on January 27th, a jersey retirement on February 3rd and
much much more. See below for the full list of theme dates.
The Wolves will also be bringing back Junior Wolves Sundays and Sudbury Saturday Nights which were
launched during in the 2019-20 season with great success. Junior Wolves Sundays will celebrate families
during every Sunday game with free skating immediately following the game with select members of the
Wolves. Kids 10 and under will receive admission for all Wolves home games this year for only $10.
Sudbury Saturday night will celebrate Sudbury with Live music on the MIC Stage and will have a Sudbury
food staple available for purchase.
“Our team has been working diligently this off season to develop a fun and exciting theme schedule that
fans will be able to enjoy in addition to also allowing us to celebrate our 50th anniversary,” said Miranda
Boivin, Sudbury Wolves Marketing Manager. “Coming out of COVID, our team is really looking forward
to getting back to being involved with the community this year, giving back and meeting with fans. There
should be something for everyone and we are looking forward to a very exciting season of Wolves
Hockey!”

Sudbury Wolves owner Dario Zulich has invested close to $1 million dollars in upgrades to the in-game
experience over the course of the off-season which includes the brand-new state-of-the-art videoboard,
along with lighting and other various upgrades including working alongside the City of Greater Sudbury
on an improved PA system.
“Earlier this summer, I made a promise to the rest of the OHL’s board of governors that Sudbury would
be the loudest arena in the league this season,” said Sudbury Wolves Owner and CEO Dario Zulich. “I
made that promise because I know the passion and energy our fans have for our team, and now is the
time to prove me right! I need to hear you, the boys need to hear you and most importantly the rest of
the league needs to hear the Wolves howl this season!”
Tickets for all regular season home games are on-sale now at greatersudbury.ca/tickets and at the
Sudbury Arena Box Office. Fans can still secure their 2022-23 season memberships also at the Sudbury
Arena Box Office and online at greatersudbury.ca/tickets starting at $499 + HST for 34 regular season

The Wolves will open up their 2022-23 season at home this Friday against the Barrie Colts. This game is
sponsored by Desjardins who will be on-hand with prizes and giveaways for lucky fans. Friday is also the
National Day of Truth and Reconciliation/Orange Shirt Day and prior to the game, the Wolves, in
partnership with the N’Swakamok Native Friendship Centre and Shkagamik-Kwe Health Centre, will be
holding a pre-game ceremony to acknowledge this day as we collectively navigate the truth on our
shared healing journey. We encourage all fans to wear orange shirts to this game in support as we help
light the city in orange Friday.
