Vancouver Giants Announce 2022-2023 Special Events Schedule

Vancouver, B.C. – The Vancouver Giants in conjunction with their sponsors and community partners are excited to announce their 2022-23 Special Events schedule. This season, fans will once again be treated to a full calendar of interaction, celebration, and prizes. All 34 of the scheduled home games for the Giants will take place at the Langley Events Centre.
“We’re excited to bring back a few ‘Fan Favourites’ when it comes to theme nights, as well as bringing in some fresh ideas for the upcoming season,” said Giants Sr. Vice President, Dale Saip. “Our sponsors and community partners are eager to get involved and we enjoy adding something special from an entertainment perspective on game nights.”
VANCOUVER GIANTS 2022-2023 EVENTS & PROMOTIONS
On Opening Night, September 23rd vs the Seattle Thunderbirds, there will be a Tailgate Party event in the parking lot of the Langley Events Centre prior to the game.
For the games on October 7th (vs Prince George) and 8th (vs Seattle), we’ll be bringing back the popular “Oktoberfest” featuring food and drink from many local vendors.
October 23rd, Save-On-Foods is proud to sponsor “Trick or Treat” Night when fans of all ages are encouraged to dress up to get an early start on Halloween candy!
November 18th is White Spot Legends Night, where there will no doubt be some hockey legends in attendance, you’ll have to stay tuned to find out who will be there!
Every Sunday home game, beginning November 27th, will be a Save On Foods Family Sunday, which will have a free postgame skate for our fans of course!
The ever-popular Chevrolet Teddy Bear Toss makes its return to the Langley Events Centre on December 10th! The annual event is a Christmas tradition, teddy bears flying onto the ice is always a spectacle!
In the new year on February 11th, we’ve got Prime Travel Vegas Night, where some lucky fans will win a trip to Las Vegas, perfect for February!
Nine days later on February 20th, it’s Family Day, so we’ll have a matinee brought to you by Save On Foods!
On March 20th, the BC Wildlife Federation and the Giants are hosting “Outdoors Night.”
Saturday, March 24th, the Vancouver Giants wrap up their regular season schedule with Chevrolet Fan Appreciation Night, where fans will have the chance to win an assortment of impressive prizes while celebrating a memorable season of Vancouver Giants hockey.
