Union Omaha Announces 2022 Skills Challenge

PAPILLION, Neb. -Union Omaha, the 2021 USL League One Champion, announced today the 2022 Skills Challenge presented by Union Bank & Trust and JE Dunn Construction will be held at 7 p.m. October 12 at Werner Park. The skills challenge will feature players from Union Omaha, as well as the Bellevue University men’s and women’s teams, broken out into six teams, with other participants to be announced. Teams will battle for points in five different events, including a crossbar challenge, crossing and finishing, shooting accuracy, passing accuracy and a 5-second shootout. Tickets for the event can be purchased here.


Full teams will be released at a later date. Here’s how the Owls will be split up:

The 2022 League One Championship defending campaign will continue at Werner Park on September 17 vs. Greenville Triumph SC for Oktoberfest presented by Family Fare. Single-match tickets and undated voucher packs for the 2022 season are currently available via UnionOmaha.com or the Werner Park Ticket Office by calling 402-738-5100.
