CHESTER, Pa. – Philadelphia Union tied Atlanta United FC on Saturday afternoon at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. With the draw, the Union remain in first place in the Eastern Conference with 64 points and have secured a spot in the 2023 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League for the second time in club history. In the first half, both teams remained scoreless despite chances from both sides. Goalkeeper Andre Blake registered five saves to keep the match level in 96 minutes of play, earning his 14th clean sheet to lead the league for most clean sheets this season.
The Union are back at home to play a friendly against Liga MX side CF Pachuca at Subaru Park on Saturday, September 24th (6:00 p.m. ET).
