Triston McKenzie Headline January 28 Hot Stove Banquet

(AKRON, OHIO) – The Akron RubberDucks announce Triston McKenzie will headline the 2023 RubberDucks Hot Stove Banquet on Saturday, Jan. 28, at the Hilton Garden Inn in Akron.
Triston McKenzie was Cleveland’s First Round pick (42nd overall) in the 2015 First-Year Player Draft. Through 27 games in 2022, McKenzie is 10-11 with a 3.05 ERA and 159 strikeouts over 165.1 innings pitched. Prior to 2022, he was 7-10 with a 4.58 ERA with 178 strikeouts over 153.1 innings over parts of two seasons with Cleveland. McKenzie is second all-time behind Luis Tiant for most strikeouts in a debut for a Cleveland pitcher with 10.

McKenzie was a member of the Akron RubberDucks in 2018 where he went 7-4 with a 2.68 ERA and 87 strikeouts over 90.2 innings pitched.
The RubberDucks Hot Stove Banquet presented by FirstEnergy is open to the public, and tickets may be purchased for $150 per person or $1000 for a table (eight people). Fans can purchase their tickets now by visiting akronrubberducks.com.
