Titans 2022-23 NAHL Showcase Preview

The Titans will begin the 19th Annual North American Hockey League Showcase today in Blaine, MN at the Schwan Super Rink. In all, the defending Robertson Cup Champions will be playing a total of four successive games. They will be facing off against the Odessa Jackalopes, Janesville Jets, New Mexico Ice Wolves and Springfield Jr. Blues.


Today’s game will begin at 4:45PM ET time as the Titans will “host” the Odessa Jackalopes. It will be the second time these teams have met in the Showcase. They previously played during the 2018-19 Showcase with Odessa winning 4 – 3.

Thursday’s game will start at 12:30PM ET as the Titans will play the Janesville Jets. This is the first ever meeting between the clubs.

Friday’s game will start at 5:30PM and will be a rematch of last year’s Robertson Cup semi-finals when the Titans defeated the New Mexico Ice Wolves two games to one and advance to the National Championship game. The Titans and Ice Wolves met back in the 2019-20 Showcase which was won by the Titans 5 – 2.

Saturday’s game will take place at 10:15AM ET when the Titans “host” the Springfield Jr. Blues. This will be the third time these teams have played each other in the Showcase. The Red Buckets defeated the Jr. Blues 4 – 2 during the 2016-17 Showcase while Springfield defeated the Titans 3 -2 during the 2019-20 Showcase (it was the Titans only lost that Showcase).

The Titans will enter this season’s event with an overall 15 – 9 record in six years. They went 1 – 3 during last year’s Showcase.
