Saginaw, Mich. – The Saginaw Spirit (5-3-1-0) return home as they host the London Knights (2-4-1-0) at the Dow Event Center in Riverfront Saginaw, Michigan.

Both teams played each other Friday, October 21, in London, Ontario with London coming out on top 4-3. Michael Misa scored two goals for Saginaw and Brody Crane got two assists for London in the game.

Season Matchup:

Saginaw and London played their first meeting Friday night, with the Knights taking a 4-3 decision. The Spirit and the Knights will meet two more times after Saturday night’s game in Saginaw on Jan. 7 at The Dow and Feb. 3 at Budweiser Gardens.

New York Islanders prospect Tristan Lennox leads the team with 3.47 goals against average (GAA) and a .875 save percentage (SV%).

George Diaco, Sean McGurn, and Denver Barkey leads the team in points with six. McGurn and Barkey share the team lead for assists with four. Diaco holds the lead for goals with four. Zach Bowen leads the team with 3.51 GAA and a .875 SV%.

The Spirit have four (4) players drafted into the National Hockey League (NHL) including Pavel Mintyukov (Anaheim), Matyas Sapovaliv (Vegas), Josh Bloom (Buffalo), and Tristan Lennox (New York Islanders).

London has six (6) players drafted into the NHL including Logan Mailloux (Montreal), Max McCue (San Jose), Landon Sim (St Louis), Isaiah George (New York Islanders), Bryce Montgomery (Carolina), and Jackson Edward (Boston).
