Sounders FC Hosts FC Cincinnati Tuesday Night at Lumen Field

SEATTLE, WASH. – After 10 days off following a 2-1 loss to Vancouver Whitecaps FC, Seattle Sounders FC (12-16-3, 39 points), hosts FC Cincinnati (11-8-12, 45 points) tonight on the Emerald Queen Casino Pitch at Lumen Field (7:00 p.m. PT / FOX13+, Prime Video, 93.3 KJR FM, Sirius XM FC, El Rey 1360 AM). Three matches remain in the 2022 regular season for the Rave Green, two of which are home fixtures.


The match marks only the second time the two sides have faced off against each other, with Seattle winning 4-1 on March 2, 2019 in FC Cincinnati’s first-ever MLS match.

Seattle continues to fight for a postseason berth, currently sitting in 10th place in the Western Conference with 39 points, six points behind the final MLS Cup Playoffs spot. Cincinnati occupies the sixth spot in the Eastern Conference with 45 points.

Following this evening’s fixture, Sounders FC embarks on its final road match of the regular season, traveling to Sporting Kansas City on Sunday, October 2 (2:00 p.m. PT / FS1, FOX Deportes, 950 KJR AM, El Rey 1360 AM).
