Rogers Nominated for Player of the Month

WINDSOR, Colo. – Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC defender Arthur Rogers has been nominated for the USL League One Player of the Month Award for September. Rogers helped the club grab seven points of the possible 12 in the month.
In four games in September, the right-back had two assists. The first came in the 4-1 win over North Carolina FC, providing Lachlan McLean service to open the scoring. The second came in the 2-1 win over Union Omaha. Brecc Evans got on the end of Rogers’ corner kick, scoring the game-winner.
Rogers created 13 chances in the month, adding to his commanding lead in chances created in the league. He’s created 78 chances through 29 league matches, a rate of 2.7 per match. The next closest is FC Tucson’s Louis Pérez and Richmond Kickers’ Nil Vinyals with 52 each.
The voting for the USL League One Player of the Month Award for September is now open.
Rogers isn’t the first Hailstorm player to be nominated for Player of the Month this year. Irvin Parra was also nominated in April, June, and August.
Northern Colorado returns to action on Saturday, October 8, when they host FC Tucson at Severance High School at 7:00 p.m. MDT.
