Riley Piercey, Red Wings Take on Gavin Hayes, Blackhawks Tonight on Bally Sports Detroit Extra

Flint, Mich. – Riley Piercey (Detroit Red Wings) and Gavin Hayes (Chicago Blackhawks) are set to play each other tonight in an NHL preseason matchup on Bally Sports Detroit Extra at 7:30 p.m.
Both Piercey and Hayes continue to impress at their respective camps, with Piercey tallying four goals in the first game of the prospect tournament, and Hayes being named first star in a Blackhawks prospect game just last week.
The game is available to all those in Michigan with the Bally Sports app on your smartphone, Apple TV, Roku, Xbox or Fire TV. For cable subscribers, Bally Sports Detroit Extra can be found on channel 707 (Xfinity), 663-1 (DirecTV) or 1738 (AT&T).
Riley Piercey and Gavin Hayes aren’t the only two Firebirds’ prospects to have impressed thus far at camp. Brennan Othmann (New York Rangers) picked up 2 assists and was named the first star of the game in the Rangers’ Monday night win. After signing an entry-level contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs last year, Braeden Kressler remains with the big club during main camp.
Will Cranley (St. Louis Blues), Amadeus Lombardi (Detroit Red Wings), Dmitry Kuzmin (Winnipeg Jets) and Sahil Panwar (Florida Panthers) all received glowing remarks from their respective camps before being returned to Flint for the upcoming 2022-23 season.
The season opener is now just THREE days away as the puck drops on Saturday, October 1 at 7:00 p.m. against the Niagara IceDogs. Single game tickets are on sale NOW, available at Etix.com or in-person at the Dort Financial Center Box Office.
