Rattlers Re-Sign Braxton Haley

PHOENIX – The Arizona Rattlers have officially re-signed wide receiver Braxton Haley for the 2023 season. Haley finished the regular season at or near the top of nearly every statistical receiving category in the IFL. He tallied 66 receptions (3rd) for 1,030 yards (1st) and 21 touchdowns (3rd).
The second-year Rattler was awarded All-IFL First Team honors this season due to his elite productivity across the board, leading the IFL’s top offense and forming a connection with quarterback Drew Powell.
He will be entering his third season with the Arizona Rattlers. In 2021 he recorded a team-best 12.8 yards per reception with 13 receptions for 166 yards and scored 2 touchdowns during his rookie campaign. He also had 4 rushes for 29 yards that season.
Prior to joining the Rattlers, Haley played two seasons at Illinois State, where he saw action in all 26 games for the Redbirds during those two seasons. Across two seasons in 2018 and 2019, he totaled 39 receptions for 494 yards and three touchdowns.
Before transferring to Illinois State, Haley began his college career at Dodge City Community College and Notre Dame College for his freshman and sophomore seasons. The Atlanta, Georgia native attended Monsignor Donovan High School, where he earned All-Conference Honors during his senior year with 44 receptions for over 1,200 yards and 25 total touchdowns.
The second-year receiver is originally from Athens, Georgia.
