Preseason Shootout Preview

The Force are heading down south this weekend for the 2022 USHL Preseason Shootout, held at the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, IA.
This is Fargo’s second year participating in the event, a three day slate of exhibition matches between Western Conference teams in the USHL.
The Force kick things off on Friday at 4:00 PM against Waterloo. The BlackHawks have a many notable returners on the roster this year, including forwards Owen Baker, Connor Brown, James Hong, Garrett Schifsky, and Gavin Lindberg.
Returning defensemen include Sam Rinzel, Ben Robertson, and Tyler Procious, followed by goaltender Emmett Croteau. Rinzel was selected in the first round of this year’s NHL Entry Draft by the Chicago Blackhawks.
Saturday at 1:00 PM the Force take on the Tri-City Storm for their second game of the Preseason Shootout. The Storm have not released their preseason roster, but are looking to build on a successful 2021-22 season.
