October 4, 2022 – Canadian Premier League (CPL)Cavalry FC News Release

Calgary, AB – The final 2022 regular season home match for Cavalry FC is this Saturday, October 8 with kick off at 4:00pm. Together with Mayfair Diagnostics, affectionately deemed the “PINK OUT!” match, we will be bringing awareness to breast cancer support and research.

Mayfair Diagnostics will be presenting Wings of Hope, Breast Cancer Foundation a cheque for $5,000 in support of the foundation’s initiatives and dedication to those affected by breast cancer. Wings of Hope is a 100% volunteer-run charitable organization that directs 95% of all funding straight into the hands of those they help.

Wings of Hope is also one of the Spruce Meadows Leg Up Foundations choice charities and funds raised through the purchase of the Pink Patch are also donated to that foundation. Patches for a Purpose can be purchased in the Cavalry FC Shop in the Lower Plaza on game day or online.

The grounds at ATCO Field will be open at 2:30pm for fans to enjoy all the pre-game fun. The first 1,000 fans through the gate will receive a complimentary pair of pink thunder sticks supplied by Mayfair Diagnostics to cheer on Cavalry during the match. Great Events Catering will also be offering a happy hour special (from 2:30pm-3:30pm) on Big Rock Rose and Eau Claire Distillery Prickly Pear Lemonade on the grounds.
