Petes to Celebrate Mann Cup Champion Peterborough Lakers on Saturday Night

(Peterborough, ON) – The Peterborough Petes will host members of the 2022 Mann Cup 4-Peat Champion Peterborough Lakers in The Sandbar Presented by Sanbagger during Saturday’s home game against the Hamilton Bulldogs. Fans can get tickets to join the Mann Cup and the nation’s best lacrosse team in The Sandbar for just $15 plus taxes and fees.
After the Lakers are honoured during the ceremonial puck drop, the Mann Cup will be on display in The Sandbar throughout the game. The game is scheduled for 7:05PM at the Peterborough Memorial Centre on Saturday.
The Lakers are coming off of their fourth straight Mann Cup championship, defeating the Langley Thunder 13-9 on Saturday, September 17 at the PMC.
“We’re really excited to give fans the chance to mix and mingle with members of the Lakers in The Sandbar, and get up close and personal with the Mann Cup all throughout our game on Saturday night,” commented Burton Lee, Petes Executive Director, Business Operations. “The Lakers put on a show at the Memorial Centre all summer long, and they deserve the opportunity to be recognized in front of thousands of fans.”
Anyone with a ticket to the game can enter The Sandbar and see the Mann Cup and meet the players, but priority will be given to those with Sandbar tickets, while supplies last and in accordance with capacity limitations.
