Petes Defeat Kingston on the Road for Second Pre-Season Win of 2022

(Peterborough, ON) – The Peterborough Petes traveled to Kingston on Sunday, September 11, for an afternoon battle with the Kingston Frontenacs. The Petes took the win 2-1 in a shootout.
Seattle Kraken 2022 fourth round pick,Tucker Robertson, scored shorthanded with 1:18 remaining in the third period to tie the game at 1-1. The goal was assisted by Konnor Smith. Michael Simpson started the game, stopping 24 of 25 shots faced. Petes 2022 fifth round OHL Priority Selection, Easton Rye, came in for the third period and shootout, stopping all 13 shots he faced. Tucker Robertson and Vancouver Canucks 2021 6th round pick, Connor Lockhart, both scored for the Petes in the shootout.
