2022-23 BATTALION REGULAR-SEASON SUMMARY
FIRST GOAL: The Battalion is 1-0-0 when scoring the first goal of a game and 0-1-0 when the opposing team scores first.
AFTER TWO PERIODS: The Battalion is 1-0-0 when leading after two periods and 0-1-0 when trailing after the second.
POWER PLAY: The Battalion is tied with Oshawa for 6th in power-play efficiency with a scoring percentage of 27.3. The Troops have scored three goals on 11 opportunities.
PENALTY KILLING: The Battalion is tied with Saginaw for 12th in penalty-killing with an effectiveness of 80.0 percent. The Troops have allowed two power-play goals during 10 times shorthanded.
PENALTY MINUTES: The Battalion is the 5th-most penalized team in the OHL, averaging 14.5 minutes per game.
EVEN STRENGTH: The Battalion has scored five goals at even strength or when shorthanded, and surrendered five goals at even strength or with the man advantage.
SHORTHANDED GOALS: The Battalion has scored one shorthanded goal … Tarasevich at Soo, Sept. 30.
