NJ/NY Gotham FC Partners with Ancaster Legacy FC

HARRISON, N.J. – NJ/NY Gotham FC of the National Women’s Soccer League and Ancaster Legacy FC (ALFC), located in Ancaster Ontario, Canada have announced a partnership for 2022-2023 season. The agreement features player development opportunities, coaching staff education and virtual player and coach appearances.


“We are very excited to partner with Ancaster Legacy FC,” said Yael Averbuch West, Gotham FC General Manager. “The club is located in a soccer-rich community and is committed to growing the game and supporting their players and staff. Having just signed Canadian Native Victoria Pickett, we’re excited to increase our reach and partner with a Canadian program. We look forward to growing this relationship and welcoming ALFC into our Gotham FC family.”

“We are extremely excited to be able to partner with an organization like Gotham FC,” said Brendon Carson, President of ALFC. “There is simply not enough attention on developing female soccer athletes in Canada. To our knowledge, we are proudly the first Canadian youth club to affiliate with a club in the NWSL, the top women’s professional league in the world. Gotham FC is a class organization, and we look forward to collaborating with them to further female empowerment in sport.”
