New York City FC and Atlas FC to Headline 2022 Campeones Cup on Wednesday, September 14 at Yankee Stadium

September 12, 2022 – Major League Soccer (MLS) News Release

NEW YORK CITY AND MEXICO CITY – The 23-player competition rosters for Wednesday’s 2022 Campeones Cup – the annual clash between the reigning MLS and Liga MX Champions – between NYCFC and Atlas FC were announced today. Sean Johnson and Talles Magno highlight a NYCFC squad that will face Atlas FC’s Camilo Vargas and Julio Furch, among others.


NYCFC will host Atlas FC on Wednesday, September 14 at Yankee Stadium (7:30 p.m. ET) in New York City, to decide which league takes the title.
