KICK CHILDHOOD CANCER

FC Cincinnati host Charlotte FC for the first time in club history on Saturday, September 3 at 7:30 p.m. at TQL Stadium. FC Cincinnati will continue its support for Childhood Cancer Awareness month in September with a special Kick Childhood Cancer platform.

The match will feature a gold color theme, the adopted color for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and include gold nets and flags, special player patches as well as captain and referee armbands. The player walk out will feature kids representing four childhood cancer organizations supported by FCC: The Dragonfly Foundation, Cancer Free Kids, The Cure Starts Now and Ronald McDonald House. A special Kick Childhood Cancer Scarf will be available for sale in the FC Cincinnati Team Store with partial proceeds benefiting local childhood cancer charities.
PRE-GAME ACTIVATIONS
Washington Park will be filled with free fan experiences beginning at 4:30 p.m. including:

Fans can join the Supporters March to the stadium, departing Washington Park at approximately 6:45 p.m.

Live music will serenade the walk into TQL Stadium, led by local musician Jason Owens playing on the East Plaza. The East Plaza will also feature gold balloons to support the evening’s initiative.
Inside the stadium from 6 p.m. to kickoff, fans can enjoy special Happy Hour $8 beer pricing at the Coors Light Bar located behind sections 111 and 112.
The players will be warming up in the special edition gold Kick Childhood Cancer pre-match top.
As the players take the field as kickoff approaches, the FC Cincinnati and Charlotte FC players will walk out with children representing four childhood cancer organizations supported by FCC: The Dragonfly Foundation, Cancer Free Kids, The Cure Starts Now and Ronald McDonald House.
National recording artist Nic Gonzales, lead singer of the Christian band Salvador, will perform the National Anthem.

Tom Gelehrter, Kevin McCloskey and Alex Stec will be on the call on for the first matchup in Cincinnati between the Orange and Blue and Charlotte FC.
