LAFC Hosts Houston Dynamo FC on Sunday, September 18 at Banc of California Stadium

The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) will host Houston Dynamo FC on Sunday, Sept. 18. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. PT at Banc of California Stadium. (TV: KCOP 13, Estrella 62; Radio: 710 AM ESPN / ESPN LA app and 980 AM La Mera Mera).
The Club is now 19-8-4 (61 points) on the season and has opportunity to clinch the top seed in the Western Conference and a berth in the 2023 Concacaf Champions League with a win vs the Dynamo on Sunday. LAFC can also clinch the top seed in the West with a tie or loss by Austin FC on Saturday.
The Black & Gold (61 points) are in second place in the Supporters’ Shield standings behind the Philadelphia Union, who have 63 points with three games to play.
The Dynamo got their first-ever win over LAFC on Aug. 31 winning 2-1 at PNC Stadium but LAFC has been nearly perfect facing the Dynamo at Banc of California Stadium (3-0-1)
The Dynamo currently sit in 13th place in the Western Conference standings with 33 points through 31 games played.

LAFC is in a position to clinch the top seed in the Western Conference this weekend with a Austin FC tie or loss on Saturday or a win by LAFC Sunday.
LAFC Captain Carlos Vela scored his ninth goal of the season vs MNUFC on Tuesday.
LAFC’s newest addition, Cristian Tello made his MLS debut on Tuesday, Sept. 13, entering the match in the 62nd minute.
LAFC has been nearly perfect facing the Dynamo at Banc of California Stadium (3-0-1)
LAFC has won eight-straight matches at home.
