LOS ANGELES – After being reduced to 10 men in the first half, LA Galaxy II earned a 2-0 shutout win over Sacramento Republic FC at Dignity Health Sports Park on Sunday night. Preston Judd tallied his team-leading 13th goal of the 2022 campaign, while goalkeeper Eric López notched two saves and his fifth shutout of the year in the win over Sacramento.


Judd Equals LA Galaxy II Goalscoring Record

Judd’s goal marked the 30th career regular-season goal scored for LA Galaxy II, which ranks tied for first in the club’s all-time goalscoring chart with Ariel Lassiter. In 57 career regular-season appearances (49 starts) for LA Galaxy II, Judd has tallied 30 goals and seven assists. In 25 games played (22 starts) during the 2022 USL Championship Regular Season, Judd has tallied 13 goals and four assists.

LA – Preston Judd (Owen Lambe), 7th minute: Working down the right flank, Owen Lambe’s pass was latched onto by Preston Judd, whose shot from the right side of the penalty beat Sacramento goalkeeper Carlos Saldaña.
