LA Galaxy Clinch 2022 MLS Cup Playoffs Berth

LOS ANGELES – Following a 1-1 draw against Real Salt Lake at Dignity Health Sports Park on Saturday night, which qualified the Galaxy for the MLS Cup Playoffs, the LA Galaxy today confirmed that tickets for potential home Audi 2022 MLS Cup Round One and Western Conference Semifinal matches are now available. The 2022 MLS Cup Playoffs are set to begin on Saturday, Oct. 15 and will culminate with the 2022 MLS Cup Final on Saturday, Nov. 5.
2022 and 2023 LA Galaxy Season Ticket Members and other planholders were given the first opportunity to secure tickets for all potential LA Galaxy Audi 2022 MLS Cup Playoff matches at Dignity Health Sports Park on a Pay-As-We-Play basis. All other fans may now do so by calling 1.877.3GALAXY (342.5299).

Next up, the Galaxy travel to face Houston Dynamo FC in the 2022 MLS Regular-Season Finale at PNC Stadium on Sunday, Oct. 9. The match against Houston kicks off at 2:00 p.m. PT and features a regional television broadcast on Spectrum SportsNet and will be streamed live on LAGalaxy.com.
The Galaxy have qualified for the MLS Cup Playoffs for the 20th time in the club’s 27 years in MLS. Since the start of the 2009 season, the Galaxy have hosted 18 playoff games in Carson, including MLS Cup 2011, 2012 and 2014. In those 18 matches, the Galaxy are 15-2-1 in home playoff games and 45-23-7 in 76 all-time playoff matches. Following the draw against Real Salt Lake, the LA Galaxy (13-12-8, 47 points) moved up to fourth place in the Western Conference standings, three points behind third-place FC Dallas (13-9-11, 50 points) with one game remaining in the 2022 MLS Regular Season.
Fourteen teams will qualify for the 2022 postseason, including seven teams from each conference. Culminating an action-packed 2022 season, MLS Decision Day 2022, the last day of MLS regular season action on Sunday Oct. 9, will determine the final field of playoff teams and seeding for the postseason. Following three consecutive weeks of playoff action, MLS Cup will be played on Saturday, Nov. 5 live on FOX, UniMás, TSN and TVA Sports, more than two weeks prior to the start of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar on Nov. 20 and more than a week prior to the player release date on Nov. 14.
