The Calgary Stampeders conclude the regular-season portion of their 2022 schedule by playing host to the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the annual Fan Appreciation game.

Calgary is looking for a sweep of a home-and-home series after defeating the Roughriders 32-21 at Regina’s Mosaic Stadium last week. The Stamps held Saskatchewan to 241 yards of net offence in the contest while accumulating 212 rushing yards including 103 by Dedrick Mills. Calgary’s touchdowns were provided by Mills, Ka’Deem Carey and Richie Sindani while René Paredes was perfect on four field-goal attempts.

The Stamps (11-6) are locked into third place in the West Division and will travel to Vancouver next week to face the BC Lions in the Western Semi-Final. The Roughriders (6-11) are fourth in the West and have been eliminated from post-season contention.

Calgary is 4-4 at home this season and 6-5 against the West Division. Saskatchewan is 3-5 on the road and 3-7 against the West.

Fan Appreciation

Saturday’s contest gives the Stampeders organization an opportunity to thank their fans for another season of support. The first 10,000 fans through the gates will receive a red-and-white pompom.

The Stamps are also excited to introduce the “Fans on the Field” promotion. Following the game, fans will have the opportunity to come down to field level as a thank-you for their incredible support all season long.

Fans are encouraged to share their field-level photos on social media using the hashtag #FansOnTheField

There will be a Halloween costume contest with fans having a chance to win prizes including a flight for two from WestJet.

In the popular Jerseys Off Our Backs event, 45 randomly selected fans will be taking home a jersey worn by a Stamps player this season. The lucky winners will get the opportunity to have the Stamps player sign their game-worn jersey.

The Dueling Piano Kings will be taking song requests for two performances – one before the game and one at halftime.
