Informational Town Hall Event for Renton Community Scheduled for Wednesday, September 21 at Sounders FC Center at Longacres

SEATTLE, WASH. – Next Wednesday, September 21 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. PT, the local Renton community is invited to the Sounders FC Center at Longacres for an informational town hall. The event is informal, with no official program or speakers, and is designed to give the citizens of Renton the opportunity to learn more about the development of the Longacres property and submit any feedback or questions.


At the event, guests can walk through part of the space while visiting several different stations, each focusing areas of interest relating to the facility and Sounders FC, including: training facility design and plans, SEA 2026 and Longacres’ role in the FIFA World Cup™, Sounders FC’s March to the 50th campaign, along with public benefits and impact. Additionally, the project’s general contractor, Venture, will be on site to share more about its process.

Each station is being staffed by representatives to provide more details and talk to guests, and there will be a dedicated feedback station where guests can submit comments or ask additional questions.

The town hall is free and open to the public.
