ICE Sign Bambrick, Morozov & Maddocks

The Winnipeg ICE are pleased to announce the signings of 2006 born defenceman Chase Bambrick and 2007 born forward Daniel Morozov to WHL Standard Player Agreements.

Bambrick, 15, from Nelson, British Columbia, played 37 games last season with the Alberta Elite Hockey League’s U18 Lethbridge Hurricanes registering 11 points (3 goals and 8 assists) along with 12 penalty minutes.


The 5’10”, 161 pound blueliner was selected by the ICE in the eighth round, 156th overall in the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft.

Morozov, 14, from Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, played 29 games last season with the Burnaby Winter Club of the Canadian Sport School U15 Hockey League registering 42 points (17 goals and 25 assists) along with 14 penalty minutes.

The 5’8″, 139 pound forward was selected by the ICE in the fifth round, 92nd overall in the 2022 WHL Prospects Draft.

The ICE also signed 2003 born goaltender Keegan Maddocks to a WHL Standard Player Agreement. Over the past four WHL seasons, the 6’0″, 176 netminder has a 2.90 goals against average and .904 save percentage with Kamloops and the Victoria Royals.
