Hurricanes Re-Assign Four Players

LETHBRIDGE, AB
– The Lethbridge Hurricanes Hockey Club announced Wednesday they have re-assigned 2007-born
players Will Sharpe, Kash Andresen, Koen Cleaver and Carsen Adair to Under-18.

Sharpe, 15, was selected by the Hurricanes in the first-round (11th overall) in the 2022 WHL Prospects Draft. The product
of South Delta, BC appeared in one pre-season game with the Hurricanes collecting a goal and a plus-2 rating. The 6’1,
195-pound defenceman recorded 42 points (19g-23a) and 38 penalty minutes in 21 games with the Yale Hockey
Academy U15 program. Sharpe will report to Yale’s U18 program for 2022-2023.


Andresen, 15, will report to the Saskatoon Blazers U18 AAA program. The Saskatoon, SK product was selected by the
Hurricanes in the second-round (33rd overall) in the 2022 WHL Draft. The 5’10, 145-pound forward suited up in one
exhibition game going pointless with a minus-1 rating. Last year, Andresen racked up 57 points (25g-32a) and 50 penalty
minutes in 31 regular season games with the Saskatoon Bandits U15 team.

Cleaver, 15, was picked in the third-round (48th overall) in the 2022 draft. The Port Alberni, BC product will report to
Pacific Coast Hockey Academy U18 team. Last season, the 6’2, 185-pound netminder posted a 9-2-2 record with a 2.85
goals against average and a .910 save percentage with two shutouts in 15 games with the PCHA U15 Prep team. He
appeared in one pre-season game with the ‘Canes posting a 3.85 GAA and a .913 SV%.

Adair, 15, will spend the 2022-2023 season with the Warman Wildcats U18 AAA team. The third-round pick (55th overall)
in the 2022 draft spent last season with the Martensville Marauders U15 AA team where he collected 34 points (8g-26a)
and 44 penalty minutes. The Clavet, SK product dressed in one exhibition game with the Hurricanes finishing pointless
with a plus-1 rating.

The Hurricanes now have 27-players on their roster, including 15 forwards, eight defencemen and four goaltenders
The Hurricanes continue the 2022 ENMAX Pre-Season on Friday, September 16th when they welcome the Red Deer
Rebels at 7:00pm to the ENMAX Centre. Tickets for the game can be purchased for $10.00 cash at the door or in
advance by visiting the Lethbridge Hurricanes Office, the Lethbridge Minor Hockey Office or any Gas King location.

Parking will be free of charge for the Hurricanes pre-season games.
