Vancouver, B.C. – General Manager Barclay Parneta announced today that the team has signed 2005-born defender Will Subject (Wayzata, MN) to a Standard WHL Player Agreement.

Will Subject (5’11’, 194-pounds) was listed by the Giants following a standout performance at Training Camp. Subject skated with Team Lucic throughout the week and then was on Team Howe for the Quinn/Howe Legends Cup to conclude camp.

He split last season between Wayzata High and Minnesota Walleye U-16 AAA, where he registered three assists. Subject will be the third American player on the Giants’ roster, joining Arizonans Colton Langkow and Jaden Lipinski.

“We feel that Will has a ton of potential,” said Barclay Parneta. “We’re thrilled to welcome Will and his family to the Vancouver Giants organization.”

The G-Men return to the ice for preseason action tomorrow afternoon at the Langley Events Centre against the Victoria Royals. Tickets will be available at the door prior to the 4:00 PM puck drop.
