Giants Announce Details of 2022 Chevrolet Training Camp

Vancouver, B.C. – The Vancouver Giants are thrilled to open the doors of the Ladner Leisure Centre for 2022 Chevrolet Training Camp which runs from Thursday, September 1st through Sunday, September 4th. Vancouver Giants Training Camp is proudly presented once again by Chevrolet.


Thursday features 2006 and 2007-born players only. Some returning players such as 2021 first round pick Colton Roberts and goaltender Matthew Hutchison are skating today with their age group. Justin Ivanusec and Ethan McEneany are also on the ice.

Some notable 2007’s on the ice today include 2022 first rounders Cameron Schmidt (7th) and Jakob Oreskovic (22nd), Colton Alain, and Chloe Primerano.

On Friday, the younger players will merge with players born in 2002/2003/2004/2005. This weekend will be the first opportunity to see new additions such as Carson Haynes and Samuel Honzek (Friday) and Kyren Gronick (Saturday). The groups will be split into teams: Team Lucic, Team Gallagher, and Team Byram, and will skate with their team on Friday and Saturday.

On Sunday, September 4, the Quinn/Howe Legends Cup Game with teams primarily made of the younger age groups – 9:00 AM
