The Rematch: The Wheat Kings host the Winnipeg Ice Friday night. In their previous matchup it was a heartbreaking 4-3 overtime loss for the Wheat Kings as they were unable to take advantage of a Winnipeg Ice club that didn’t have Matt Savoie, Connor Geekie and Carson Lambos in the lineup. The Ice are expected to have all of those players slot into the lineup along with their top draft eligible prospect Zach Benson who scored the overtime winner in that September 24th opener.
