LAST GAME: 6-3 W at Everett Silvertips: For the first time in four years the Medicine Hat Tigers had road game in Everett and just like the last time, the Tigers came away with a victory, this time thanks to Cayden Lindstrom & Shane Smith’s 1st WHL goals along with Alex Drover, Andrew Basha, Brenden Lee & Brayden Boehm helping ensure Medicine Hat’s 6-3 over Everett, Beckett Langkow got the win and his second on the campaign making 34 saves.
VS WINTERHAWKS:
Like their last meeting against Everett, the Tigers haven’t played in Portland since February 19, 2019 in a 2-1 shootout victory and the Winterhawks last game in Medicine Hat on October 8, 2019 where former Tiger James Hamblin scored a goal and an assist in the win, Hamblin is still with the Edmonton Oilers looking to crack the opening night roster in the NHL. The Overall Record for the Tigers against the Winterhawks going back to the 1996-97 season is 28 games played, 13 wins, 14 losses, one overtime loss and two shootout wins.

Thru 4: The Medicine Hat Tigers are sporting a 2-2 record in the 2022-23 WHL Season so far after winning their season opener against Lethbridge, the Tigers have lost two straight to Lethbridge (5-4 Sept 30) & Winnipeg (5-2 Oct 1). This is the Tigers first US road trip since February 2019. They snapped their two game losing skid with a 6-3 win in Everett (Oct 7)
New Blood: The Tigers will have one of their newest prospects on the road trip for the next 10 days, Defenceman Matthew Paranych who was drafted in the 3rd Round of this year Prospects Draft has been playing with the SAHA Academy in Medicine Hat.
Calgary Cowboys: The line of Andrew Basha, Oasiz Wiesblatt & Owen MacNeil are off to a great start in the Tigers season. Responsible for 8 of the Tigers first 22 goals scored this year.
