EVERETT, Wash. – Jackson Berezowski recorded a natural hat trick as the Silvertips capped off a three-in-three with a 7-3 win over the Spokane Chiefs

Ty Cheveldayoff opened the scoring banging in a Berkly Catton rebound for his third goal of the season. Ben Hemmerling would answer within 16 seconds however, generating a turnover at center ice and beating Mason Beaupit glove-side for his fourth goal of the campaign.

Jackson Berezowski gave the Tips a 2-1 lead at 13:40 with his sixth goal of the season, tipping a Austin Roest slapshot from the point. With the primary assist, Roest extended his point streak to nine games.

Berezowski grabbed his second of the game just 34 seconds into the second period, fielding a Jesse Heslop pass on a rush and banging in his own rebound. He completed his natural hat trick at 11:03 in the second, as an Aidan Sutter shot was partially blocked up into the air. With the puck airborne, Berezowski swung from his hip and batted it past Beaupit for his eighth goal of the season.

Aidan Sutter blasted a slapshot home for his first of the season 19 seconds into the third period, followed by a Ryan Hofer powerplay goal at 4:05. Hofer would net a shorthanded breakaway goal later in the third for the Tips’ seventh goal of the game.

Braden Holt stopped 25 of 28 in the win. Everett improves to 7-2-0 with the victory.

The Silvertips hit the road this Friday in Kennewick to take on the Tri-City Americans before swinging East to visit the East Division. They return home on Sunday, Nov. 13 against the Calgary Hitmen. Tickets are available.
