Now Seating: Kingpin Social at the Rink
September 23, 2022 – United States Hockey League (USHL) – Waterloo Black Hawks News Release
Waterloo, Iowa – The Waterloo Black Hawks are booking groups for the Kingpin Social at the Rink seating area during all 2022/23 regular season home games.
The exclusive ticket opportunity is designed for groups of 8 to 20 along the dasherboards in the northeast corner of the arena. In that space, fans will have a place to mingle with high-top tables and bar stools while enjoying a unique view of the ice. Ticket packages include one complimentary beverage at the rink for each fan age 21 and over, as well as corresponding “free beverage” vouchers redeemable at Kingpin Social, the full restaurant and bar which is part of Maple Lanes at 2608 University Avenue in Waterloo.
“Maple Lanes and Kingpin Social represent a great story which really needs to be told,” said Black Hawks President of Business Operations Joe Greene. “After the fire in 2020, Rich, Ryan, and everyone there persevered, and we’re so glad to have them back with new amenities. I hope there are a lot of people who come out to a Black Hawks game, then head over to Maple Lanes and Kingpin Social to see all that they’ve done there in the last couple of years.”
Maple Lanes and companion property Cadillac Xtreme Bowling Center (650 La Porte Road) have deep roots in the Cedar Valley bowling community, but both have undergone major renovations in recent years. Cadillac XBC now offers a full arcade, laser tag, and is currently installing a new scoring system for a wide range of bowling games, including Hyper Bowling – a whole new bowling experience. Maple Lanes has been extensively remodeled and now also features duckpin bowling, sand volleyball, bags events, and more. Sharing space with Maple Lanes, the upstairs mezzanine at Kingpin Social has pool, darts, pinball, an array of high-definition televisions, and a full menu while open daily for lunch and dinner.
To bring your group to Young Arena in the Kingpin Social at the Rink seating area, call the Black Hawks’ front office at (319) 232-3444.
