After two regular-season meetings at McMahon Stadium, the Calgary Stampeders and BC Lions wrap up their 2022 season series on Saturday with a contest at Vancouver’s BC Place. Kickoff is at 8 p.m. MDT.

The Lions captured both games in Calgary earlier this season, with both results coming down to the wire. BC won 41-40 on Aug. 13 thanks to a game-winning field goal in the final minute and then last week took a 31-29 overtime decision.

The most recent result gives the Lions (9-3) a two-point lead over the Stamps (8-5) for second place in the West Division.

The Stampeders have won six consecutive regular-season dates in Vancouver dating back to the 2016 season including wins by scores of 39-10 and 33-23 a year ago.

With this week’s contest, Dave Dickenson becomes the third individual to serve as Stampeders head coach for 100 regular-season games. He joins Wally Buono and John Hufnagel in that exclusive club. Through 99 games at the helm of the Red and White, Dickenson has a record of 69-28-2.

The Stampeders are 5-2 on the road this season and 4-5 against the West Division. The Lions are 4-2 at home and 6-2 against the West.

The Stamps return home on Saturday, Oct. 1 to face the Toronto Argonauts. Kickoff at McMahon Stadium is 5 p.m. MDT.
